The next six weeks is when the majority of you will be having your Fall Family Photos taken. (If your still worried about how to prepare, check out my 5-part series on just that!) One of the things I hear most often is "Make sure I don't have too many chins!" I totally understand and today I want to show you just how to make sure that you don't have that problem, regardless of who is taking the photo!
Before we get started, go to selfie mode on your camera or stand in front of a mirror and practice along as I show you step by step just what to do!
First, take a big breath in and exhale. Watch your face as it natural falls into its normal state. Notice where your mouth falls and how your eyes and eyebrows naturally rest. I know when I do this, I see more than just my chin.
Second, I know it will feel awkward, but move your neck forward just to the point where start to notice a strain. Now when doing this, you have also probably titled your head back just a touch, as if you were looking toward the sky.
Third, tilt your head back down to where it fell naturally all while keeping your neck out.
If you've worked with me before, I have probably told you to bring your neck out and down. This all helps elongate the neck and tuck away those extra chins that just won't go away! Check out the video below to see how I personally do this!
Happy Monday, friends!
