Home Is Where The Heart Is

I can't tell you how good it feels to come home, take my shoes off, and sit down. This brief moment is one of the most relaxing moments of the day. My home is where so much of my life happens. My family and friends gather here. My husband and I plan our future here. Some of my business is run here. My heart is here. At the end of every day, as I'm getting ready for bed, I begin to list the numerous things I am thankful for. That includes this home.

As thankful as I am to have this home, I am also very aware that there are so many in our town that cannot say the same thing at the end of their day. Our community has a growing homeless population, especially as an affect of last year. That is where Mark and The Fields Edge step in. They are in the process of building a tiny home community, specifically to house our chronically homeless.

From January 15th-February 3rd, The "Home Is Where The Heart Is" Valentine's Mini Sessions are taking donations for The Fields Edge and this past week I had an opportunity to sit down with Mark and discuss the vision of this organization! The full interview is attached below, and I hope you take a few minutes of your day to watch. I am so thankful to be working with this organization and pray that we are able to help them in some way.

Happy Monday, friends!

P.S. After one week, we have raised just short of $1,000!!
